NOTE: The £30 booking fee will show up on your cart statement form SPA TUBS HIRE LTD.
You are responsible for our equipment throughout the hire period.
Please make sure you follow all steps to avoid injury and damage to equipment:
- Children under 12 years old must be supervised at all times. UNDER 5s or pregnant women must not use the hot tub.
- No food or drinks or chewing gum allowed in the hot tubs to avoid damage. Any damage or tubs left in a dirty condition will result in you being liable to pay a repair and, or cleaning fee (£50).
- Do not enter the tub with makeup or false tan on as it will damage the pump. If the tub is left dirty as a result of makeup or false tan there will be a cleaning charge of £50. If the equipment is damaged beyond repair a full replacement will be billed to you.
- The hire equipment 100% your responsibility whilst on hire. Any damage will be your responsibility to pay for either through repair or replacement. If the damage can not be fixed by means of repair then you will be required to pay for the cost of replacement items. The setup area must be secure, flat and clean of animal faeces otherwise we can not set up. Please make sure you don't stand on the bubble strip (it runs along the floor on the inside of the tub round the edges) - if you stand on it, it can break it and will lead to £50 damage charge).
- All footwear, glasses, jewellery, or potentially sharp items to be removed before use. No face-paints in the tubs.
- No smoking, fires or cooking equipment near the tubs.
- Your booking fee is part payment to secure your hire and the remaining balance is due cash on delivery before we set up. Booking fees are non-refundable. If you book it is your responsibility to make sure there is enough space (we need an area of 3.2m x 3.2m to install the gazebo or an area of 2.2m x 2.2m to hire tub only without the gazebo) as it has been reserved and booked out for your hire. If any equipment does not fit then you are still liable for full hire prices.
- Please make sure the tubs are not over crowded and limit numbers according to size of the tub.
- If you're experiencing issues on your hire we will usually try to help over the phone, if not we will attend in person before 6pm if we need to. This is very rare that we will need to attend but if we attend and the issue is your own fault and not with the equipment you will be charged a £50 call out fee.
- We need an area of 3.2m x 3.2m to install the gazebo or an area of 2.2m x 2.2m to hire tub only without the gazebo. If you have booked a full package, the sides of the gazebo will need to be removed by you in wind gust speeds above 15mph to avoid damage to our kit and surrounding property. Please check 'GUST' speeds in your area on www.xcweather.co.uk - If wind speeds are too high we may not be able to supply or install the gazebo sides or the gazebo canopy due to health and safety reasons. If this is the case it is cheaper to revert back down to a lower package. We unfortunately can not control the weather and can under no circumstances take any risks with this.
- The hot tub will need to be plugged directly into a mains socket throughout the entire hire with the pump powered on permanently with the filter and heater remaining permanently on (3 lights on the unit) to keep the tub upto temperature. Strictly no extension cables can be used - the power cable is 7m long so you need a socket within 7m of the tub location.
- The tub will not be 'usable' for the first 24 hours typically while the water gets up to temperature and while the initial dose of chlorine settles in the water (assuming we can hot fill).
- We will usually try to hot fill the tub where possible off a hot tap to avoid longer wait times for the tub to get upto temperature. If it isn't possible to hot fill or you prefer us to cold fill there will be a longer wait time to get upto full temperature and may take longer than 24 hours to reach full temperature. Possibly upto 48 hours as it can take 1-1.5 hours to rise water temperature by 1 degree.
- The filter must be cleaned once a day at least to maintain water flow to the pump. There is a £5 charge if you use the spare filter.
- Inform us immediately if any issues arise.
- You are required to check available space before the hire. If we attend to set up and not enough space is available you will be required to pay for the full hire still.
- Your booking fee is part payment to secure your hire and the remaining balance is due cash on delivery before we set up. Booking fees are non-refundable unless we cancel the booking due to severe weather or if for some reason the equipment is deemed unsafe to use.
- It is your responsibility to maintain chemical levels throughout hire. This is to ensure correct levels of chlorine to kill bacteria and avoid skin irritations.
- Setup and collection times can vary between 7am and 7pm. We will contact you a day or two beforehand to provide an approximate 1-2 hour time slot once we have sorted the routes. Specific requests for pickup or drop times can be made at a cost of £50, otherwise we will work to what fits in best for our routes. We can collect in your absence providing we have access to water and electricity outside your property. We will pump water down a drain if accessible, otherwise you'll need to empty the day before. Somebody will need to be in for setup to allow tub to correctly fill. If the delivery team have to wait for you to decide where you want the setup or wait for you to move items in the garden there will be an extra fee for wait times.
All users of the equipment do so at their own risk. The person or organisation hiring the hot tub will be responsible for any damage or injury caused. Booking with us acknowledges that you fully understand and accept the conditions above. And that you are aware that any damage or required extra cleaning if the tub has been left in an unacceptable condition (e.g. dirty or muddy or stains) will be your responsibility to pay for. If it can not be repaired then you are required to pay for a full replacement.
